Build a route you can repeat. Track one target, choose a mount that handles the terrain, keep basket space open, collect the egg, and return to My Plot. Then hatch and inspect it before deciding whether that route deserves another run.
Verify rarity in the live game
Color alone is a shaky rarity check. Read the label or target information shown in the current interface. After hatching, check the Pet Index and the pet’s visible stats. Those screens tell you more than an old community tier list.
If an egg shows probabilities in your server, record them then. When the screen shows no odds, stick to the label you can see and compare repeated hatches without assigning a made-up percentage.
Start every hunt with Track
Use Track to give the run a destination. A selected target prevents random roaming and helps you notice whether the route is blocked by height, water, long detours, or awkward landing space.
Before leaving My Plot:
- Confirm the target is still active.
- Check the basket counter.
- Mount the pet you intend to use.
- Look for a direct outbound and return path.
- Decide when you will abandon the attempt.
That last point matters. If the target disappears, becomes unreachable, or sends you into repeated collisions, return and select another egg. Rare hunting becomes efficient when failed attempts are short.

Judge the hatch, not the spectacle
Once the egg reaches My Plot, use the live hatch interface and inspect the result. Compare its visible speed with your current travel pet, check whether it fills a new Pet Index entry, and decide whether it improves cash generation or another part of your loop.
An exciting animation does not prove that a pet is your best mount. Keep the pet that solves your present bottleneck. A faster mount leads to more searches; a useful Index discovery advances collection; a stronger plot contributor can support upgrades.
